In June 2019 the following equipment was delivered from the territory of Izhorskiye Zavody: the support ring, the thrust ring, the reactor main joint sealing parts.
Kudankulam NPP – co-chair of the Russian-Indian Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Science, Technical and Cultural Cooperation. The first two power units of the station were built and launched with the participation of Russia. At the end of June this year, a ceremony was held to pour the first concrete into the slab of the base of the building of the reactor department of the third power unit of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant, marking the beginning of construction work on the site of the construction of the second stage (energy units 3 and 4 ) of this nuclear power plant.
THE REACTOR MAIN JOINT SEALING PARTS are designed to seal the main connector of the reactor hull with the lid of the upper block, as well as to attach the lid to the hull.
THE SUPPORT RING, THE THRUST RING are the equipment of the reactor plant and are designed to secure the reactor hull in a regular place.
